S’mores Brownies

Traditional S’more brownies are multi-layered desserts with goey texture like marshmallows or lava cakes. Recently, I’ve been trying to make S’more brownies like the good old campfire days using the usual ingredients. And surprisingly it works perfectly. 

Today, I’m going to show you my own recipe. It doesn’t require any special process or ingredients. You only need to know what to use and how much to add. Trust me, even you’ll be able to make it at the very first attempt.

  •  2 cups graham crackers (for a crunchy base)
  •  1/2 cup butter (or coconut oil for a lighter option)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Chocolate and flavor

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2–3 oz chocolate (for rich taste)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for soft texture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping layer

  • 2 cups marshmallows (mini or large, both work)

For simple swaps

  • Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
  • Use coconut oil instead of butter if needed

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes till edges are set
  7. Take out and add marshmallows on top
  8. Broil for 2–3 minutes until golden and gooey
  9. Let cool fully before cutting into squares
